Updated on November 22, 2011

Accolades

What thou the accolades are lost,

My score is fall,

All is not lost.

My heart was crying,

My mind was whispering,

Sign in, Sign in

On Hub pages.

Tell them what’s in you mind?

Ask few questions,

Post some forums.

Again and again,

Try, try again.

Click, click, and click.

Start a new hub,

In qualitative colors,

Follow your followers,

And post some fan mails,

with unique comments,

Hop some hubs,

Answer few questions,

Follow all rules.

Be firm, be patient and be resolute;

One day your hubs will be in the list of nuggets.

score will rise

And Accolades will back.

And one day your pockets will be hot.

What thou the accolades are lost,

All is not lost.

Explanation of the poem

Hub pages accolades is actually a little bit funny and interesting out put of my pen.

Reason of composing this poem

There is a short story behind the composition of that poem. Once upon a time, I joined hub pages, and after joining that great, creative writing community; I met a lot creative writers, to meet the standards of that community I started posting hubs. And luckily I got a very good and positive response from hub pages. The great comments and the accolades on my page are the clear proof of that response.

One starry Friday night as I signed in. on hub pages, I surprised to see that there is another accolade on my page which shows that asmaiftikhar is popular among the readers as measured by their feed back. That statement really made my day.

But there is a turning point in this happy story, After five days, I signed up on hub pages and I found my two accolades are vanished and my hub score falls from 85 to 69 that was really a tragic incident, and spoil my week end.

The clouds of sadness were prevailing all around of my mind like Hamlet; and I was thinking, where is the wrong which spoilt my happiness. After thinking a lot I decided to sign in on hub pages.

I signed in on hub pages and started commenting on different hubs; hop some hubs and posts forums. And at that moment my score started rising from 69 to 72,and I got my accolades back on my page. That gave me hope and an idea to compose a poem related to hub pages Accolades.

The purpose of creating this hub was to inform the new hubbers about the system of hub pages and how all these steps are important to maintain the hub scores.

Morals of the story

“Try, try again. And don’t waste your time; otherwise that time would waste you.”

“Be firm, be patient, and be resolute”
